We believe in your privacy and consequently we only collect limited information as follows:

When you give it to us as a Subscriber.

When you subscribe or order on the Momiji website or apps, (“Momiji” or the “Services”), you voluntarily share certain information.

Account Information: When you join our Services as a Subscriber, we collect information like your name, email address, and telephone number.
Your communications with us: If you contact us for customer support or otherwise communicate with us, we will collect the content of these communications.

We also may get technical information when you use Momiji

When you use a website, mobile application or other internet service, certain internet and electronic network activity information gets created and logged automatically. This is also true when you use Momiji. Here are some of the types of information we may collect:

Device information: We can collect information about the device you use to access our Services, including the type of device, operating system, network service provider, settings, and unique device identifiers.
Log data: When you use our Services, our servers record information (“log data”), including information that your browser automatically sends whenever you visit a website, or that your mobile app automatically sends when you’re using it. This log data includes, for example, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, activity on websites you visit that incorporate Momiji features (like the “Save” button) browser type and settings, and the date and time of when you accessed the Services.
Information from cookies and similar technologies: We also use “cookies” or similar technologies to obtain log data.
Location Information: We use your IP address to infer your approximate location, even if you don’t choose to share your precise location.
User Choices: We will keep a record of choices you’ve selected in your settings, including privacy settings and whether you have enabled notifications.

We also receive information about you and your activity outside Momiji from other third parties we work with. For example:

Third party platforms: If you register for or log into the Service using a third-party platform (like Facebook or Google), they will furnish certain information to us to facilitate your account creation or log-in with us. In addition, if you connect your third-party accounts to our Services, we may use information from those accounts to improve your experience. Further, some third-party applications use Momiji features such as our “Save” button, or you may install our “Save” button for your browser. If so, we collect log data from those sites or apps, including usage data.

We’re committed to providing you with the best service and food. We are proud of our family heritage and are committed to showing you the best that we have to offer that’s relevant, interesting and personal to you. To do that, we use your information to provide and improve your experience, including to:

Identify you when you use our Services.
Respond to your questions or comments.
Send you updates. If you elect to become a Subscriber, you can unsubscribe from our promotional emails at any time.

We use your information in our efforts to improve our Services, keep our users and the public safe, and to protect legal interests. To do so, we:

Analyze users’ log data and device information to identify and investigate suspicious behavior or violations of our policies or Terms.
Conduct age verification, as appropriate.
May access user information in relation to a legal claim, litigation, or regulatory proceeding.
Improve the products and services of our family of restaurants and offer new features.

We also use your information to personalize any ads you may see

Specifically, we use the information we collect to decide which ads (if any) to show you directly on Momiji.

Some of these activities may be considered “targeted advertising” “sharing” or “selling” as those terms are defined under certain privacy laws in Oregon. You can opt out of Momiji using and/or disclosing your information for these purposes only by deleting your Subscription. You have choices regarding your information on Momiji. If you have a Momiji Subscriber account, many of these controls are built directly into Momiji or your settings. We also support settings such as Limit Ad Tracking in iOS and Ads Personalization in Android devices.

You may also have choices available to you through the device or software you use to access Momiji. For example:

The browser you use may let you control cookies or other types of local data storage.
Your mobile device lets you choose how and whether your precise location, photos, and/or other data is shared with us.

How and when we share information

We only share the categories of information described above: with law enforcement agencies, government agencies, researchers, or other parties in compliance with laws, rules, or regulations. We only disclose information in response to such requests if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public, any person, or Momiji; or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues. We may also share information if we believe it is necessary to prevent imminent and serious bodily harm to a person in emergency situations. We may share your publicly accessible information with independent researchers who meet certain criteria, to combat societal harm.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only so long as we need it to provide Momiji to you and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. When we no longer need to use your information and there is no need for us to keep it to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, we’ll either remove it from our systems or depersonalize it so that we can’t use it to identify you.

Our policy on children’s information is that Children under 13 are not allowed to use Momiji.

We may change this policy from time to time and if we do, we’ll post any changes on this page. If you continue to use Momiji after those changes are in effect, the new policy applies to you. If the changes are significant, we may provide a more prominent notice, such as by sending you an email.
