Momiji Sushi Restaurant Launches New Chef’s Specials on September 8
[SALEM, OR – September 4, 2025] – Momiji Sushi Restaurant, Oregon’s go-to destination for premium, affordable sushi, is unveiling a new lineup of six Chef’s Specials available for a limited time starting September 8 at participating Momiji locations.
Designed by Momiji’s culinary team, the Chef’s Specials highlight premium seafood, seasonal ingredients, and elevated Japanese flavors. Guests can enjoy these dishes for dine-in, takeout, and delivery throughout the fall.
The lineup includes:

Chirashi Sashimi Bowl – A colorful mix of sashimi, avocado, seafood salad, and kaisou, finished with Yuzu Ponzu.

Salmon Carpaccio – Thinly sliced salmon dressed with Yuzu Ponzu and Black Truffle Garlic Dashi Soy, topped with tobiko, crab, and herbs.

Yuzujime Madai Nigiri (2pc) – Seared sea bream nigiri with Yuzu Ponzu, Black Truffle Garlic Dashi Soy, and fresh garnish.

Premium Salmon Toro Nigiri (2pc) – Rich salmon toro topped with scallop, Yuzu Ponzu, ikura, and cilantro.

Wasabi Crunch Roll (10pc) – A bold, spicy roll with seafood salad, tempura vegetables, sriracha, and wasabi mayo.

Hokkaido Scallop Roll (8pc) – A luxurious roll topped with premium Hokkaido scallops, Yuzu Ponzu, wasabi mayo, and ikura.

In addition to the new dishes, Momiji recently expanded its menu to include alcoholic beverages such as sake, beer, and plum wine. While currently available for dine-in, alcohol takeout and delivery will be launching soon, allowing guests to enjoy complete sushi-and-drink pairings at home.
The Chef’s Specials also reflect Momiji’s ongoing commitment to sustainability. All seafood is responsibly sourced, and packaging is eco-friendly.
