Our Northeast Salem location officially opened on May 18, 2010 in NE Salem, Oregon, beginning the Momiji brand. Since then, it’s become more than just a restaurant—it’s our company’s origins and a fan favorite. This was the shop where now-CEO Bruce Zhen used to serve rolls up behind the bar. He and other now-leaders in Momiji created many recipes we still use today at this first shop. It’s beloved by the company for that reason, and you’ll often see Momiji leaders stopping by for a bite or just to catch up with the team.
Store Manager London takes the upmost care in providing excellent guest service to everyone who steps in the doors of the Momiji on Silverton Road. She embodies the pinnacle of care in our organization and is extremely knowledgeable on dietary restrictions and allergens. Some of our longest-serving sushi chefs also call NE Salem their home base, promising fantastic bites with every sashimi, nigiri, and sushi.
